Devoted Hearts, Connecting Lives!

Missions

First Baptist Church, Landrum, believes in missions, both in the United States and internationally.  In 2004 our youth and adult team traveled to London, England and Andover, England for a week of evangelism and ministry.  Our adult team traveled to Muldova.  This team held revival services and worked with children throughout the community to tell them about the love of Jesus.

In 2005 our youth and adult team went to Belize, CA.  While there we held nearly 10 Backyard Bible Club meetings with neighborhood children, provided a birthday party for the area orphanage, sang and witnessed at a nursing home, helped with a men's ministry event, cleaned up a vacant lot next to a church, and led worship services in several church around the city.  Please pray for the wonderful people of Belize.

As a footnote to the Belize project, our church is proud to have Mrs. Martha Brady, retired International Mission Board(Southern Baptist Convention) missionary, as a member of our church, and former missionary to Belize.  Our church participated in a project back in 1992 to help build the Fauber's Road Baptist Church.  We were honored to go back to see this church and find it doing well.

Past mission projects to local areas included Daytona Beach, FL, Hilton Head Island, SC, Charleston, SC, West Virginia, and others.
